Meet Some Scaly Survivors at Museum’s Sandbar Lecture

Ocean Isle Beach, NC –– Reptiles have been around since dinosaurs walked the earth, and some of them have changed very little! Meet a few of these fascinating creatures and learn how they have adapted to survive so successfully during the Museum of Coastal Carolina’s Sandbar Lecture Series on April 8 at 5:30 p.m.

Kristin Holloman-Noe, the Education Outreach Coordinator for the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher and the Chapter Coordinator for the NC Aquarium Chapter of FrogWatch USA, will deliver this fascinating presentation on these “Scaly Survivors.” With her will be some of the Aquarium’s outreach ambassadors, including snakes and turtles.

Holloman-Noe is a North Carolina native from Goldsboro and a graduate from East Carolina University with a BS in Biology. She serves her community as an education volunteer for the Wrightsville Beach Sea Turtle Project and as an Advisory Board member for New Hanover County 4-H. In her personal time, Kristin enjoys writing, nature photography, and exploring with her husband and their two Siberian Huskies, Macy and Luca.
