Imagination Station Science and History Museum is located in Historic Downtown Wilson. It resides in a building constructed in 1927 as the Federal Courthouse and Post Office. It became a museum on February 15, 1992. On the first floor race a cheetah, rock climb, and explore space and sea. The second floor is home to more that 30 exotic and native species of animals. The third floor houses the History Museum of the Coastal Plain.
